2000 years ago Jesus touched the lives of many people … he still does today. He built bridges of friendship where there were devastating divisions … he still does. He came into conflict with the powers that be … he still does. He experienced betrayal, denial, rejection yet through it all he brought a forgiving love that transformed lives …he still does. He died a death that changed the world … that death on a cross still has a power to change people's lives. And on the third day he rose again from the dead … he is alive and makes a world of difference in the lives of all who follow him.
Over Easter Week-end in the year 2000 the Churches of Cheltenham took the story of Jesus on to the streets of their town. As the story of their Passion Play unfolds, many stories emerge of the way that Jesus lives on touching and transforming people's lives today. Three video programmes tell the story of Jesus, of that Passion Play and of the impact he still makes on people's lives:

Jesus for Today … tells the story of Jesus and of the Passion Play - ideal for home use and for groups

Jesus for Tomorrow … re-tells the story for schools and youth groups, and is linked to the KS 3 Curriculum.

Jesus for ever the same … uses images from the Passion Play in a sequence of short prayer meditations The web site includes the text of the booklet which accompanied the Video, together with Teacher's notes and additional resources.
